County Task Force Information

LAKE COUNTY

Stressing "As long as you have trains running through your community you need a task force" Vicky and Dennis Moore asked Lake County Commissioners to take steps in forming a railroad safety task force. Also present were Dan and Becky Garry, who lost their daughter, Jennifer, in 1998 at a dangerous grade crossing in Perry Village. Commissioner President Daniel P. Troy said the county is serious about forming the committee, not only for prioritizing crossings, but also to educate the public. Contact information:
