Upgrade to Gates and Lights

The Angels on Track Foundation is proud to announce its fourth completed grade crossing upgrade reimbursement grant project. Forty Corners Street, Stark County, Ohio, completed installation of gates and lights on September 25, 2000.

Safety improvements were requested by the local highway authority due to roadway geometrics obstructing a motorists' view, pedestrian safety along the new Ohio Erie Canal Trail and slow moving industry trucks at a nearby cement company forced to turn their vehicles close to the railroad crossing.
