On
December 30, 1998, The Angels on Track Foundation
approved three reimbursement grants for railroad grade
crossing improvements in Wayne County amounting to
$61,569.00. The crossings involved were Geyers
Chapel(installation of gates/lights),Eby Road(upgrade
to lights with gates), and Back Orrville Road(track
circuit upgrade). All work and installation was finally
completed in the year 2000 by the railroad company,
state, and local highway authority.
Other projects have been approved for Delaware and
Stark Counties.
